PICNICKING
Indulge in the great outdoors with a delightful picnic lunch at Tables at Nitída, set amidst the tranquil beauty of Durbanville’s vineyards. Whether it’s a family outing, a romantic rendezvous, or a joyful gathering with friends, our venue provides the perfect setting for an unforgettable day.
Choose your spot on our expansive lawn or at one of our specially designated picnic tables, each offering panoramic views of rolling hills and lush vineyards. Our seasonal à la carte and platter menus are designed for outdoor enjoyment, with reduced options available for groups of 12 or more. Please note that as a fully licensed restaurant, all catering and beverages must be provided by us—outside food and drinks are not permitted. Lunch is served daily from 12:00, and platters are available throughout our serving hours.
Our platter menu is ideal for lawn picnics—relax on the grass or a bench, sip a refreshing glass of wine, and finish with a sweet treat from our dessert selection. Families are welcome, with ample space for children to play and a menu tailored to young palates, ensuring enjoyment for guests of all ages.
The outdoor lawn accommodates approximately 60 guests on 10 picnic benches (seating 6 each) with limited umbrellas available. We recommend bringing camping chairs, blankets, pillows, and sun protection for added comfort, as shaded areas are limited. All picnic bookings are weather-dependent, and no alternative indoor seating is available if it rains or the restaurant is fully booked.

KID FRIENDLY & PARTIES
Celebrate your child’s special day picnic-style on our outdoor lawn, weather permitting. The lawn accommodates approximately 60 guests on 10 picnic benches (seating 6 each) with limited umbrellas available. For added comfort, we recommend bringing camping chairs, blankets, pillows, and sun protection, as shaded areas are limited. Please note that all outdoor bookings are weather-dependent, and no alternative indoor seating is available if it rains or the restaurant is fully booked.
At Tables at Nitída, we create a relaxed and welcoming environment where children feel comfortable and engaged. Our spacious lawn and designated kiddies’ play area provide plenty of room for children to play while parents relax and enjoy their meals.
While we do not provide entertainment services, you are welcome to arrange your own at your expense. Please inform us of any planned activities in advance, noting that water-based entertainment is prohibited. Guests participating in entertainment will be required to sign an indemnity form.
For birthday parties, we typically set up a picnic-style arrangement on the lawn. You are welcome to bring your own party packs for R25 per person, but this cannot replace any of the catering from our restaurant. All food and beverages must be provided by Tables at Nitída, including meals for both children and adults. Menus for adults and children are available on request via email.
