As fresh tropical flavours burst forth, subtle fig leaf and apricot undertones round off this well-balanced, smooth beauty. The long, satisfying finish leaves you craving another sip. MERLOT 2022
A fruit farm in full harvest, the smell of dark red fruit leaps out of the glass. Raspberries, dark cherries and plums lead the way, with fennel and bay leaf in the background. Lovely, grippy tannins and an earthy richness provide structure to this bold wine. Able to stand its own next to a pan-seared steak, coated in olive oil and salt, but defintely will do justice to Mom’s home-made Boontjie bredie (Bean stew).
