This is been a busy time for Bernhard. A series of public tastings, winemakers dinners, golf days and a boules day all leading up to the final auction on Sat 1 October at Spier Conference Center. 

Ride the Rhino is a 3 day mountain bike event from Langebaan to Nitida Cellars. Its intention is to create awareness for the plight of the rhinos in South Africa and the renosterveld in the Western Cape.

 

Social media is the new thing and if you are not on Facebook and or twitter, with your website also being a mobi site and all your winelables including a QR code – you are just not going to sell any wine! Or so they say. 

The Matriarch and Matriarch in Red (methode cap classiques) are created, named and packaged
as a tribute to the inspiring nature of Peta’s mother, Christine, “our wonderful Matriarch who, in the very
beginning, made it possible for us to buy the piece of land that eventually became Nitida”.
