The third Concours Mondial du Sauvignon took place during March in Bordeaux, this competition was created to promote wines of this varietal and create worldwide public awareness to the comprehensive range of Sauvignon Blanc wines.

On Friday 4th November 2011, our green label sauvignon blanc was chosen as one of the 
TOP 10 SA wines in the Bartho Eksteen International Sauvignon Blanc Competition 
(Nitida had 3 wines in the top 48 including our 2009 and 2010 Club Select's)

as a tribute to the inspiring nature of Peta’s mother, Christine, “our wonderful Matriarch who, in the very
beginning, made it possible for us to buy the piece of land that eventually became Nitida”.

RJ visits 2009 Coronata

Its a tough life and someone has to do it. The 2009 Coronata needed to be tasted. Deciding on a meal was a tough one for our winemaker come aspiring chef RJ. "All the Coronata's are so lekker with spicy food but I really felt like something more mellow and soulfull on a cold winters night." Also "what was available in the fridge" played no small role in his recipe development.
